ChristianaCare Fellow (Food is Medicine) AmeriCorps - 4.3 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Part-time 10 hours ago Qualifications Optimizing workflow processes Community health & wellness Some college Community partnership development strategy Operations coordination Writing skills Public health communication strategies Local agency collaboration Educational material preparation Medical administrative support Continuous improvement Data reporting support Data entry Community health education events Leadership Impact program evaluations Editing Healthcare data reporting Entry level Community nutrition training Full Job Description Through Leading Youth Through Empowerment, this AmeriCorps member will serve at ChristianaCare supporting Food is Medicine initiatives designed to improve nutrition access, chronic disease management, and community health outcomes. The member will assist with program coordination, outreach efforts, data and resource organization, and operational projects that strengthen the organization's ability to deliver equitable, community-centered wellness initiatives. The member will support communication systems, community partnerships, educational programming, and program sustainability efforts related to medically tailored food access, nutrition education, and public health initiatives serving underserved populations. Through this work, the member will help expand organizational capacity to address food insecurity, health disparities, and long-term wellness through preventive health strategies.
Member Duties :
Assist with organizing program materials, resources, and outreach efforts related to Food is Medicine initiatives. Support administrative and operational processes that strengthen program efficiency and sustainability. Help coordinate community engagement and educational activities focused on nutrition, wellness, and chronic disease prevention. Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting to support program evaluation and impact measurement. Support communication and partnership efforts with community organizations, food access partners, and healthcare teams. Help develop and organize educational materials, presentations, and community resources related to healthy food access and nutrition education. Contribute to systems and process improvements that expand organizational capacity to address food insecurity and health disparities.
