Job Description

Functional Medicine Health Coach Sedona, AZ 86336 Hybrid work $60,000
  • $87,500 a year
  • Full-time $60,000
  • $87,500 a year
  • Full-time Functional Medicine Health Coach — UPLEVEL Holistic Health (Remote, Arizona preferred) Help high-performing women reclaim their energy, hormones, and health — on a team that actually walks the walk.
At UPLEVEL Holistic Health, led by Dr. Jenna Blasi, we help women heal from the inside out: reducing inflammation, supporting hormonal health, restoring energy, and building habits that last. We're not about quick fixes or fads. We're about the fundamentals done consistently, evidence-based care, real outcomes, and the kind of root-cause work that changes lives. We're looking for an experienced functional medicine health coach to carry a full case load alongside Dr. Jenna and our practitioners. This is a role for someone who already knows how to do this work well and is looking for the right team to do it with for the long haul. About the role You'll work directly with practice members to implement and follow up on their individualized health plans — lifestyle, nutrition, mindset, supplement protocols, and lab understanding — keeping them on track to reach their goals. You'll also lead group classes and workshops, create educational content, and collaborate closely with our clinical team. This role is remote, but we are not a faceless team. We gather periodically in person, host in-person dinner talks, and stay genuinely connected. The right person values that and wants to be part of it. What you'll do Coach women 1:1 using a plant-forward, whole-food, root-cause approach Implement and follow up on individualized plans alongside our practitioners (lifestyle, nutrition, mindset, supplements, labs) Lead group classes and workshops on mindset, lifestyle, and healthy living Create educational content (emails, posts, handouts) that motivates and supports client success Collaborate with a clinical team that values authenticity, integrity, and outcomes What we're looking for This is an experienced role. We are not able to train someone new to functional medicine.
The strongest candidates will have:
A Master's degree in functional medicine, integrative medicine, or equivalent Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential Demonstrated experience running a full client case load inside an existing functional or integrative medicine practice A track record in both 1:1 coaching and group facilitation Genuine emotional intelligence: the ability to meet women with compassion, read what someone actually needs, and build real trust High personal integrity, follow-through, and ownership — you do what you say you'll do Passion for women's health, hormones, and whole-person transformation Comfort with Zoom, Facebook/Instagram, Canva, PowerPoint, EHR systems, Monday.com, and Microsoft 365 Coachable, organized, self-directed, and aligned with a growth mindset Location & Travel This is a remote role, and we strongly prefer candidates in Arizona or nearby. Because we gather in person for team meetings and dinner talks, being within reach matters — our culture and the results we get for patients are built through real connection, not just screens. Arizona also does not observe daylight saving time, so being in or near our time zone keeps scheduling clean year-round.
This role includes periodic travel:
in-person team quarterlies twice a year, plus attendance at our virtual quarterlies. Our quarterlies are dedicated to personal development and growing together as a team — they're a meaningful part of how we stay connected and aligned, and full participation is expected. Compensation The salary range for this role is $60,000
  • 87,500, depending on credentials, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
The upper end of the range reflects candidates who fully meet our preferred qualifications — a Master's in functional medicine, integrative medicine, or equivalent, a CNS credential, and a proven track record running a full case load in an established functional medicine practice. In addition, you'll be eligible for a team performance bonus when our goals are met — we win together. Why you'll love working here A culture rooted in transparency: we share our KPIs, we celebrate our outcomes, and we know where we stand Real patient outcomes you'll be proud of, and a team that genuinely has each other's backs Periodic in-person team gatherings and dinner talks that keep us connected Hands-on collaboration with Dr. Jenna Blasi and continuing professional development A mission-driven environment focused on true root-cause wellness How to apply Send your resume and a short cover letter. In your letter, we'd love to hear: a time you helped a client through a setback or plateau, and what being part of a connected, mission-driven team means to you.
