The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking to hire two student assistants to participate in the California Pathways into Public Health (Pathways) Internship Program. Pathways is a paid, academic-year internship designed for community college, undergraduate, and graduate students from historically underrepresented and diverse backgrounds who are interested in public health. Interns gain hands-on experience at local health departments (LHDs) across California, reflecting the state's geographic and demographic diversity. The program provides exposure to public health service delivery at the local level, meaningful project work, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Apply today to become a Pathways intern and work with Modoc County Public Health! The Pathways Internship Program 2026-2027 Academic Year cohort will run from September 9, 2026, through May 14, 2027.
