AHA BLS/PALS/ACLS
Instructor, where you will empower healthcare professionals, emergency responders, law enforcement personnel, military members, and first aid providers with life-saving skills. In this vital role, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training courses that adhere to American Heart Association (AHA) standards, fostering confidence and competence in emergency cardiovascular care. Your expertise will help ensure that participants are well-prepared to respond effectively in critical situations, making a tangible difference in communities and workplaces alike. Duties Deliver comprehensive BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) courses to diverse audiences including healthcare providers, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and first responders. Develop and update curriculum materials to reflect the latest AHA guidelines and best practices in emergency cardiovascular care. Assess participant performance through practical skills demonstrations and written evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Facilitate engaging adult education sessions that cater to learners with varying backgrounds and experience levels. Maintain detailed records of training sessions, participant progress, and certification statuses in compliance with organizational standards. Collaborate with healthcare facilities, law enforcement agencies, military units, and community organizations to coordinate training schedules and meet specific needs. Stay current with evolving emergency medicine protocols and incorporate new techniques into instructional content. Experience Proven background in emergency medicine or related fields such as emergency room experience or military medical service. Demonstrated teaching experience with adult learners, ideally within healthcare or emergency response settings. EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) experience is highly valued for practical insights into pre-hospital care. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, and advanced life support courses. Strong understanding of law enforcement or military operational environments enhances the effectiveness of specialized training programs. Certification as an
AHA BLS/PALS/ACLS
instructor is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged to maintain certification standards. Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for education and community service.
