POSITION SUMMARY
The Process Improvement Educator will be responsible for providing end user training in the RMF or Clinic setting for business and clinical applications to team members who require training. The educator will also provide training for and be a resource in ambulatory clinic operations and will train on new processes or software that is being implemented within the clinics. The Educator will work closely with the IS Team on new applications deployed to offices in order to help train end users on use and effect on workflow within their office. The educator will also be tasked to perform data mining and analysis projects to determine sequence of need within clinics for process improvement projects for management.
POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED, Required MA Certificate, preferred Associates Degree in Health Care related field, preferred Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) required Advanced level knowledge of Excel, required Position requires travel, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are required
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three years ambulatory clinic experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and data analysis skills required Critical thinking and problem solving skills, required Ability to build positive working relationships with providers and teams in clinic locations Strong organizational and analytical skills are required Must be able to meet deadlines in a complex and fast paced environment Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. Understands and adheres to privacy, confidentiality, and security policies and procedures related to Protected Health Information (PHI) or other sensitive and personal information Has knowledge of the operational working of a physician practice, both clinical and administrative areas Ability and willingness to travel to site /office locations on a daily basis
Responsibilities:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
Provide real time, local, front-end business and clinical application training for all clinic staff (excluding Revenue Cycle system applications); Educates the clinic staff on business and clinical applications approved recommendations and configuration of tasks to ensure their understanding, knowledge, and compliance of workflows. Assesses office teams, coordinates education of systems or processes needed, with existing or new functionality Assists IS Team with training new (non-provider) staff on business and clinical applications including their functionality and effect on clinic operations Collaborate with RMF clinical leadership team and IS team to report, trouble-shoot, and communicate issues for resolution. PI Leadership team will include/cc PI Educator on new service requests Collaborate with IS teams to facilitate system upgrades, enhancements, or changes and provide training to clinic teams on those changes as needed Follow processes to open service requests with DHR IS Service Desk for identified issues. PI Educator will coordinate new requests Provide remedial training to improve end-user proficiency in use of business and clinical applications Collaborate with Regulatory and Compliance teams and Leadership to provide education on

initiatives and documentation requirements Own and create a positive experience environment for end-users in each engagement. Working Conditions:
The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents. C.
Occupational Exposure:
This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). Person who performs these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid or to be potentially exposed in some other way. D.
