Part-Time About Playball Playball is a leading international multi-sports enrichment program serving children ages 2 through 9 since 1983. We use sports as a means to provide children with a sound foundation from which to base every aspect of life. We provide a loving, no-pressure environment with challenges for children to rise to, encouraging them to grow at their own pace while building confidence and resilience. We use a scientifically-based curriculum rooted in early childhood education that combines sports, movement, and integrated play. We help children build confidence, coordination, life skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of being active. Position Summary As a Youth Sports Educator, you will teach structured sports and movement classes to preschool-aged children using the Playball curriculum. You will create a fun, engaging, and safe environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn new skills, and develop confidence through play. No previous Playball experience is required. We provide training, curriculum support, and mentorship. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must have reliable transportation Must live near The Woodlands, Texas area Must pass a background check Must complete CPR and First Aid certification Enjoy working with young children Be physically fit, energetic, dependable, patient, and enthusiastic Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn This Position Is Perfect For Stay-at-home moms looking for rewarding part-time work during school hours Former or current preschool and elementary teachers seeking additional morning work and income College students pursuing education, kinesiology, child development, or a related field Former athletes or coaches who enjoy working with children Individuals who are energetic, physically active, and passionate about helping children learn and grow Anyone looking for meaningful work that combines sports, movement, and making a positive impact on young children If you enjoy being active, love working with children, and want to be part of a supportive and growing team, Playball may be the perfect fit for you. Summer Training Program Selected candidates will begin with paid summer training alongside Coach.

August Schedule:
Three days per week, 9:00 AM - 12:00
PM Pay:
$12.00 per hour Contract pay tax free During training, you will receive hands-on experience learning: The Playball curriculum Classroom management skills Sports instruction for preschool-aged children Age-appropriate games and activities How to create a positive and encouraging learning environment School licensing procedures and classroom safety requirements Professional expectations and communication with schools and families This training program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to become a successful Playball Youth Sports Educator. Fall Coaching Position Candidates who successfully complete summer training and choose to continue with Playball will begin coaching on September 1st.
Schedule:
Three days per week, 9:00 AM - 12:00
PM Pay Rate:
$15.00 per hour W-2 payment with state and federal taxes withheld Coach alongside Coach while building your skills and confidence as a Playball educator.
