The Executive Functioning Coach will have deep knowledge of best practices for supporting neurodivergent college students and building executive functioning skills. Provide case management services on weekly basis for up to 15 Neurodivergent students who participate in the On Your Marq Program. This will include weekly seminars, one on one coaching, and aiding students in developing academic, social, and independent living skills. This is a full-time position working 10 months of the year. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Maintain a caseload of students. Meets with students 1:1 on average 2 times per week to provide executive functioning training and academic coaching. 2. Communicates with student's faculty, campus support offices, and family as needed. 3. Provide drop-in executive functioning coaching on rotating basis. 4. Provide weekly seminar instruction, workshops on study skills, executive functioning strategies, and independent living skills. 5. Collaboration with the Office of Disability Services to ensure students are registered to receive academic accommodation. 6. Support and collaborate with Graduate Assistant(s) also providing similar supports to students. 7. Attend University Admissions events, information sessions, conferences, and resource fairs on behalf of On Your Marq. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field required. A minimum of 1 year of experience. The incumbent in this position must be detail-oriented, have experience providing case management or executive functioning support, be effective at managing conflict by utilizing critical thinking and good judgement. Possess strong listening skills as well as effective time management and problem solving and information gathering skills. Ability to function independently, be a creative thinker, and demonstrate strong compassion and support for neurodiverse young adults and their families and friends. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Master's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field preferred. Knowledge of and 1-2 years of experience working with neurodiverse adolescents and/or adults. Experience working with those who may become behaviorally dysregulated or have co-occurring mental health concerns. Have a basic understanding of college accommodation process.
