Job Description
General Statement:
Under the direction of the Health Information Supervisor, follow well defined procedures and guidelines with minimal supervision, must have the ability to work accurately and have strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and to prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent AND one (1) year of medical records experience with working knowledge of fling systems and computers.
Additional Requirements:
All candidates must pass a Health Information Clerk test. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and squat, and lift 25 pounds. Work is 75% walking and standing.
