This role manages and develops HIM staff; oversees coding, clinical data integrity, tumor registry, Chargemaster, and medical records operations; coordinates departmental activities; and serves as Custodian of Medical Records. Additionally, the manager ensures compliance with HIPAA and state privacy regulations, managers privacy issues and audits, and delivers organization-wide training and education on privacy and compliance practices.
