Med-Tech/Caregiver

Responsibilities Assist residents and patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Administer medications, and assist with basic care needs Maintain accurate medical documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like August Health or Yardi to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Support residents with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Observe and report changes in health status or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals, and MOC ensuring timely intervention Uphold safety standards by adhering to HIPAA guidelines, maintaining confidentiality of patient records, and following infection control procedures Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology, and patient care procedures including hospice or acute care settings Hands-on experience working with EMR/EHR systems like August Health or Yardi is preferred Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to effectively support assessments and interventions Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia Experience in medical documentation, medication administration, catheter care etc Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management to ensure privacy and security of sensitive information Join us in providing exceptional care that transforms lives!
