This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and residents, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care that promotes their well-being and dignity. Your expertise will support a dynamic environment focused on enhancing quality of life through attentive medical support and meticulous documentation. Duties Prepare and administer medications accurately according to physician orders, including oral, topical, injectable, and tube feeding medications. Assist with patient care activities such as vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic physiology assessments. Maintain precise medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support residents with daily activities related to memory care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and other senior care needs. Collaborate with nursing staff to update medical documentation, record medication administration details, and track patient progress. Perform routine checks on patients' physical condition by monitoring vital signs and observing for any changes in health status. Assist with specialized procedures such as tube feeding management and medication administration under supervision or according to protocol. Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication protocols. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation. Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease or those requiring hospice or memory care. Ability to perform catheter care, tube feeding management, and vital signs measurement with precision. Excellent caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach tailored to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality and medical records integrity.
