Job Description

Surgical Technologist Hiring Now! We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team! In this role, you will support obstetric surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and emergent interventions, while ensuring a sterile environment and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is committed to providing safe, family-centered care.
Shift:
7PM -7:30AM or 7AM to 7:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and nurses during obstetric surgeries, primarily cesarean deliveries. Only passes instrumentation to the Residents. Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly. Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before, during, and after procedures. Work with the Pharmacy Support patient care activities under the direction of the RN when not in the operating room. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Triaging STAT Testing Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. CST is
PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED MUST
have OB experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Fire Card/MAB. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in Labor and Delivery at a Trauma Hospital. Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Training :
There is no formal training, you will be oriented when you arrive for the first 4-6 hours.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
