Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients.

Expect Base Pay:

$21 - $22

Based On Experience Schedule:

Tuesday through Saturday 6:30pm - 3:00am (Off every Sunday/Monday) Our comprehensive total rewards support you, your family, and your future with Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K + 5% company match Tuition assistance up to $5k per year Free basic life and AD&D insurance Free short-and-long-term disability insurance Paid time off Employee Resource Groups Recognition and perks As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy. Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle. Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability. Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees. Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas. High School diploma or GED required Valid in-state driver's license Six months of customer service experience required Prior healthcare industry experience preferred Able to lift 40lbs
