Health Services Technician - SY 2026-2027 at San Bruno Park School District Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 5/14/2026 Contact Lilian Guzman Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range $24.24 - $30.94 Per Hour Length of Work Year 185 Employment Type Full Time About the Employer San Bruno Park is a linguistically and culturally diverse school district in the San Francisco Bay Area. Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district is the home to four elementary schools and one middle school. Home to YouTube, Walmart.com and numerous other businesses, the city is a hub for tech and innovation. The city is geographically diverse, ranging from the urban flatlands to the central greenspace of the San Bruno City Park to the grand sweeping Bay vistas from the highest hilltops of the community. Through the generous support of the San Bruno community, the district is the recipient of a recent facilities bond to rebuild aging infrastructure. The district maintains a strong financial position as a result of new and increasing revenue sources. The San Bruno Park Board of Directors recently approved a 9.5% raise over two years for all educators in the district demonstrating its commitment to attract and retain talented staff across the district. Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Director-Special Education/PPS and with general supervision of the District Nurse, perform a variety of clerical and technical duties related to mandated health screening programs; obtain and maintain student health records, referrals and reports; monitor and implement district health policies and procedures in elementary and middle schools; assist in administering first aid and medication administration to students to students with mild and moderate medical conditions (excludes students with severe conditions) ; perform a variety of clerical duties in support of student health services. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent GED diploma and a minimum of one year working experience providing first aid, medical screening or working in a health care patient care environment.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Valid first aid and CPR certificate issued from an authorized agency. • Participation in on-going Child Protective Services (CPS) training.
