Non Emergency Medical Technician

Duties Safely operate specialized vehicles to transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and traffic laws Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to transport, including vital signs, physical examinations, and evaluating overall conditions Assist patients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting and proper transfer techniques, while maintaining patient dignity and comfort Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, transport details, vital signs, and any medical interventions performed during transit Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, emergency responders, and team members to coordinate seamless patient transfers and ensure timely arrivals Experience Strong driving record with the ability to operate heavy vehicles safely over long distances under various conditions Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while maintaining safety standards Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A clean driving record, free of any serious violations within the last five years, is mandatory. Successful completion of a background check and drug test is a prerequisite for employment. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The ability to lift 125 pounds or more is a necessary physical requirement. Current CPR and First Aid certification is essential.
