Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our urgent care team. The EMT will assist providers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment for our patients. Responsibilities Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories Prepare patients for examination and treatment Assist providers with procedures, wound care, and splinting Perform EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as directed Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment Support front office tasks when needed, including patient intake Ensure proper documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Follow clinic protocols for infection control and patient safety Provide excellent customer service to all patients Qualifications Active EMT certification in California Current BLS certification Urgent care or emergency department experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off Health insurance Dental insurance Retirement plan Employee referral incentives Great small-business work environment Flexible scheduling Schedule Full-time or Part-time Must be available for weekends and rotating shifts
