POSITION SUMMARY
Performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates.
HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIALTIES
Medical ICU (MICU): High-complexity medical patients Surgical ICU (SICU): Trauma, neuro, and post-operative care Trauma ICU (TICU): High-acuity trauma patients
Neuro ICU:
Neurological critical care Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU): Cardiac surgery recovery and ECMO Oncology Preop/PACU Med/Surg Education/Qualification High School diploma At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school. Skills Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity Able to speak and write English Fluently Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills Knowledge of medical terminology
