Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time MedTech, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality medical support across various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Your compassionate approach and technical skills will ensure that individuals with diverse needs—ranging from seniors to those with developmental disabilities or memory impairments—receive attentive, respectful, and professional care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work flexible hours while making a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated medical assistance and caregiving. Responsibilities Support patient care by accurately monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living in compliance with healthcare protocols Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and other senior or disability-related services Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to document medical information securely and efficiently Perform clinical tasks including catheter care, tube feeding, and collection of medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of medical documentation and accurate recording of vital signs and physiological data Support hospital or home-based medical procedures by applying anatomy and physiology knowledge in a safe manner Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control practices and ensuring proper handling of medical equipment Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous Background in caring for individuals with disabilities or complex health conditions like Alzheimer's or dementia enhances suitability for this role Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance is essential Previous caregiving experience in hospice or senior care settings is a plus Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and acute care practices to support diverse patient needs Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering compassionate healthcare support. $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
