• Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Med Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring accurate medical records management. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, dementia, and hospice care requirements. The Medical Technician will work collaboratively within various healthcare settings, including assisted living facilities and home care environments. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional patient care by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Quickmar. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide support for patients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Assist in hospice care, offering emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times. Engage with patients suffering from dementia, employing effective communication strategies to enhance their quality of life. Conduct routine health assessments and monitor vital signs as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Quickmar is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in hospice settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of assisted living practices is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
