Serviam EMS is a family-owned, patient-care-focused non-Emergency Medical Transportation Company based in Plant City, Florida and currently servicing the State of Florida. We provide BLS and interfacility Non-Emergency Transports. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will provide BLS medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer appropriate medical treatments, and transport patients safely to medical facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people's lives during critical moments.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
  • Safely transport patients to medical facilities using proper techniques and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals, providing accurate patient information and updates
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ambulance and equipment
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 150 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Skills:
  • Experience administering EpiPen injections
  • Patient assessment skills
