Jun 25, 2026 Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated candidate for its Adjunct Instructor- Patient Care Technician ( Part-Time ) position in the Economic Development Department of Academic & Student Affairs Division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College's Main campus, just South of downtown Atlanta, Ga. Under general supervision of the Executive Director of Executive Development, the Adjunct Instructor
- Patient Care Technician
- will be a part-time (Adjunct) faculty member that teaches in the Patient Care Technician Program.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills Ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population Knowledge of accreditation policies and procedures Strong oral and written communication Skill in developing lesson outlines and materials Knowledge of vocational area of assignment Skill in presenting subject matter Skill in administering tests to evaluate progress Skill in the use of computers and job-related software programs Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with adult learners Knowledge of student information systemsMinimum Qualifications :
Must possess and demonstrate the following: Associate's degree in nursing. Minimum of Two (2) years of nursing experience. Active license as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing. At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in a Long-Term Care Facility.Certifications/Licenses:
o American Heart Association CPR certified. o Holds a Train-the-Trainer Certificate or obtains the certificate upon hire. oNote:
Train-the-Trainer certificate must be completed within one (1) month of hire.- May be required to teach at other locations and other locations within the community .
