Job Description

Position Overview Ringdahl EMS Georgia is seeking EMS Professionals to join our team. Founded in 1967, Ringdahl has grown into a respected multi-state EMS organization operating ambulance services in Minnesota and North Dakota. Through Para-Corp, Ringdahl also provides wildland fire medical support, remote medical operations, disaster response, EMS contracting, and centralized communications services. Ringdahl EMS is expanding operations to Georgia upon final ambulance service licensure and state approval. Schedule Expectations Scheduling will involve rotating shift work based on operational needs, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operations expand. Summary of Essential Job Functions Personnel in this position are responsible for providing safe, professional emergency medical care and patient transport.
Essential functions include:
Perform patient assessment, treatment, and stabilization in accordance with medical protocols and state scope of practice. Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Operate emergency vehicles in a safe, controlled manner at all times. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) system. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA requirements. Complete documentation promptly to support continuity of care, QA/QI review, and proper billing workflow. Maintain equipment readiness, including restocking, cleaning, and conducting vehicle/equipment inspections. Support and promote a culture of clinical quality, safety, professionalism, teamwork, and respect. Maintain required certifications and participate in continuing education. Represent Ringdahl Ambulance professionally in interactions with patients, families, bystanders, coworkers, facility staff, and public agencies. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet the following requirements : Current Georgia EMS license as EMT-A, or ability to obtain Georgia licensure prior to start date Current CPR certification Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced EMS environment Ability to operate as part of a professional healthcare team Physical Requirements The physical demands described here represent those required to perform the essential functions of the job: Ability to lift and move patients and equipment weighing up to 125 pounds, with assistance when required Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling Ability to sit and drive emergency vehicles for extended periods Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including adverse weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding tasks during emergency operations Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
