Patient Care Technician (PRN)

WinnMed is seeking to hire a PRN Patient Care Technician to join our Med/Surg Team! Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) provide support top patients on the Med/Surg Unit, which is WinnMed's hospital in-patient department. PCTs provide basic patient care under the direction of RN staff. PCTs are also responsible for Unit Secretary duties, which include facilitating nursing station operations, coordination communication between patients, family, visitors, and health team members. PCTs are responsible for observing telemetry cardiac monitors and informing nursing staff of changes and/or life-threatening rhythms. Position is PRN or as-needed. The schedule includes a variety of shifts, including some overnights.
