Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated emergency response team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where your expertise will be vital in providing immediate, high-quality medical care to those in need. In this fast-paced role, you will deliver critical pre-hospital care, assess patient conditions, and support emergency medical operations with professionalism and compassion. Your skills will help save lives and improve patient outcomes during urgent situations, making a tangible difference in our community's health and safety.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for PRN/Part-Time availability to work as an EMT (basic, advanced or paramedic), running on 911 calls with some Interfacility-Transports available. It is preferred you have some experience as an EMT, but not required. It is a plus if you have some firefighting experience or certifications and this will reflect with a higher pay rate. We offer flexible scheduling and continuous training opportunities. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing rapid assessment and essential medical interventions on scene and during transport Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history collection to determine appropriate care Manage airway techniques, including airway management devices and ventilation support, ensuring patient safety during transport Administer medications via injections or other approved methods following established protocols and physician orders Operate emergency medical equipment: such as defibrillators, suction devices, and immobilization tools with precision and confidence Maintain clear documentation of patient care reports, vital signs, treatment provided, and transport details accurately and efficiently Collaborate with hospital staff during critical care transport to ensure seamless handoffs Requirements Valid EMT certification with current licensure in good standing; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required Preferred but not required: experience in emergency medicine settings, including ambulance services or urgent care environments Ability to operate an emergency vehicle safely Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and provide clear instructions in high-stress situations Join us in delivering life-saving care with energy and dedication!
