Core Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position that will be on-site.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, Medical Assistants will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting medical professionals in various aspects of patient management, procedure assistance, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

Prepares patient for physical examination. Assists provider(s) in physical examination. Takes patient histories and documentation, obtaining all pertinent information related to the patient's visit and previous medical history and drug allergies. Sets up exam rooms daily for appropriate medical and surgical procedures. Responsible for maintaining a well-organized patient flow through hallway exam rooms. Performs appropriate laboratory tests (including specimen collections, preparation of lab requisition forms, logging, etc.) Assists with biopsy procedures. Reports all lab findings to the physician(s).

Requirements:

Graduation from Medical Assistant Program; CMA certification preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical terminology. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with medical professionals.

This is a Non-Exempt position. Pay will be based on years of experience and certification date. The budgeted hourly pay range is $20.00-$26.79.
