Part-time The Johns Hopkins Hospital Medical Acute Care Unit (Halsted 3/Osler 3). This unit features 22 individual rooms across 2 hallways designed to care for adult patients requiring acute medical intervention. H3O3 cares for patients with various respiratory diseases such as pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and lung transplant patients. They also see patients with varying medical conditions like GI disorders, cardiac disease, and endocrine disorders. Clin Techs at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required. 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered) BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range:
Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
