36 hours/week; benefitted 8/12 Day Shift Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development. Join our collaborative team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital on Zayed 12 West, a prestigious 32-bed adult inpatient unit renowned for it's exceptional care in neurosurgery and neurology. Our unit boasts a unique setup, including our 12-bed designated Brain Rescue Unit (BRU), a 6-bed Neurosurgical Intermediate Care Unit, and a 14-bed step-down unit. The 12-bed BRU has earned the Joint Commission-Advanced Certification and is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a Clinical Tech (CT), you are a valued member of our team and play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care to patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling's, and more! At Johns Hopkins, our Department of Neurosciences stands at the forefront of groundbreaking treatments. As a clinical tech on 12 West, you'll have the opportunity to care for a broad spectrum of patients grappling with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, myasthenia gravis, MS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, ALS, and more.

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience.
Licensure/Certifications:
Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required. Current CPR certification
Salary Range:
Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
