Emergency Medical Technician

Detroit-based contract security provider City Shield Security Services is currently hiring 2 part time EMT's to work at an account in Detroit. Applicants must be certified EMTs and provide proof of a current license. Job duties will entail responding to accidents and medical calls on the footprint and communicating with out team and client. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Provide first-aid treatment, such as bandaging wounds. Provide life support care, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), when needed. Assess a patient's conditions and provide initial treatment. Determine whether a patient needs to go to an ER or a trauma center. Communicate with other emergency services, such as firefighters and police officers, to respond to calls for help.

Requirements:

Must have a current/valid EMT license registered with the State of Michigan. Must be 18+ years old and able to pass a state and national background check.
