Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Med Tech Caregiver, working 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Your expertise will support individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or recovering from illness. This position offers an energetic environment where your caregiving skills make a meaningful difference every day. You'll be part of a team committed to enhancing quality of life through attentive and personalized care. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient and resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure prompt response to medical needs Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols, including tube feeding and catheter care Document medical information accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Support individuals with memory care needs by implementing specialized techniques for Alzheimer's and dementia care Assist with medical procedures such as taking vital signs, performing basic anatomy and physiology assessments, and managing medical records Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and ensure safety Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation standards Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures like tube feeding and catheter care Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting Certification as a Med Tech or caregiver is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected Join us to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
