Responsibilities Deliver equipment to designated standby locations in patient-ready condition, ensuring all required software, accessories, and disposables are in place. Pick up, clean, and process equipment according to company and hospital protocols so it is fully prepared for safe patient use. Follow detailed cleaning, handling, and processing procedures to maintain equipment quality, reliability, and compliance with hospital standards. Confidently communicate with clinical staff about equipment features, functionality, and proper use to support safe and effective patient care. Provide high-quality service that meets or exceeds customer and company performance metrics. Respond promptly to service calls and requests, using digital tools to receive assignments and update status. Document all tasks and equipment activities digitally with accuracy and completeness. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all hospital staff and personnel. Support general equipment management tasks, including organizing, staging, and tracking equipment throughout the facility. Work on your feet for the majority of the shift while moving equipment safely and efficiently across hospital departments. Adhere to all hospital and company safety, infection control, and operational policies at all times. Essential Skills At least 6+ months of professional janitorial or custodial experience. Comfort working in a hospital environment, including around patients, clinical staff, and medical equipment. Basic computer skills, including the ability to answer service calls and document tasks digitally. Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift and move equipment safely throughout the hospital. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact professionally with hospital staff. Attention to detail when cleaning, processing, and preparing equipment for patient-ready use. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, protocols, and safety procedures consistently. Dependability and flexibility to support required shifts, including every other weekend.
