06/08/2026 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a hospital-based opportunity in Elmhurst, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of General Radiographer experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, and equipment operation. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards Provide quality patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care delivery Follow hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety guidelines Required Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program or Military Training equivalent Current ARRT certification and registration required Current New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License required Associate Degree required Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and patient care standards Preferred Qualifications BLS Certification preferred
