$42-47/HR (Local) / $ 52-57/HR (Traveller) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an OB/GYN surgical services assignment in a high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams during obstetric and gynecologic procedures while ensuring a sterile and safe operative environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for OB/GYN procedures Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff during procedures Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instrumentation efficiently Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment and supplies Support patient safety initiatives and perioperative care standards Maintain accurate surgical counts and documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and labor & delivery teams Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Certification as a Surgical Technologist required through: Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Knowledge of perioperative nursing practice and patient care required Prior OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery surgical experience preferred Strong understanding of sterile processing and surgical protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment For more details reach at jknox@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.
