Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and assisted living environments. The STNA will assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to all safety and health regulations. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing Help patients with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse Provide companionship and emotional support to patients Assist in medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Support patients with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care as needed Skills Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems Experience in critical care, acute care, ICU, or emergency medicine settings Familiarity with long-term care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations Ability to perform phlebotomy and catheter care when required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior care and pediatrics Competence in basic life support (BLS) techniques and aseptic procedures Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and teamwork Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals where your skills will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients.
