This role will provide healthcare support at our onsite healthcare clinic located at our client's distribution center in Cleveland, OH.
Main needs:
2nd and 3rd shift coverage throughout the week. 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM Saturday and Sunday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities May perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • training provided Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and any required or requested ancillary testing including but not limited to vaccines and injections, phlebotomy, pulmonary function tests, audiogram testing and respirator fit testing May be required to perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.)
  • training provided Determine nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance, basing decisions on statements of persons involved, examination of patient, and knowledge of emergency medical practice Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by treating clinician as well as triaging emergent patients as needed May assist clients with case management of injuries and follow-up care.
Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure and make quick decisions Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician and in accordance with state regulations and standing orders Administer prescribed first-aid treatment potentially performing such activities as application of splints, administration of oxygen or intravenous injections, treatment of minor wounds or abrasions, or administration of artificial resuscitation At the direction of the Center Medical Director, communicate with professional medical personnel at emergency treatment facility to obtain instructions regarding further treatment and to arrange for reception of patients at treatment facility Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices as well as testing processes used in the center Maintain supplies, clean equipment and onsite clinic. Complete any applicable training including but not limited to clinical competency training that occurs monthly Maintain and operate all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping Notify supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or facility is not operating as expected Keep patients informed of expected wait times during all aspects of the center visit Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules Attend client safety team meetings or huddles as required Assist client with wellness activities Assist in maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly appearance throughout the facility Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education/Credentials Education Level:
High School Diploma or GED Major:
Degree must be from an accredited college or university. Certifications and/or
Licenses:
