Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who can work effectively with patients of all ages, including infants and those with specific health needs. The Medical Technician will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals and ensuring the well-being of patients. Duties Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols. Assist in the management of patients with specific conditions, such as dementia care, cardiac catheterization, and inpatient support. Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for diagnoses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement health coaching plans for patients. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients through proper infection control practices. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and health management. Skills Proficiency in dementia care, ICU procedures, home community care, and infant care is highly desirable. Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization techniques and catheter care best practices. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems is essential for accurate documentation. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for patient needs. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
