Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic, EMT-Advanced, Paramedic) to join our dynamic team. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and during critical care transport. You will work closely with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients. Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history. Administer basic life support and advanced airway management as required. Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Assist in the transport of patients to appropriate medical facilities, including Level I Trauma Centers. Maintain aseptic technique during procedures and ensure proper handling of medical equipment. Collaborate with other emergency responders and hospital staff to deliver comprehensive care. Document patient information accurately in a timely manner as well as maintain confidentiality at all times. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in patient care and emergency response. Requirements Valid state EMT license from an accredited program. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during patient transfers or equipment handling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality of care. Willingness to participate in continuous education and training programs. Pay:
$10.50 - $20.00 per hour
