Job Description
DEFINITION
Assists the nursing staff in administering direct and indirect patient care by assuming clerical and receptionist duties, performs specialized technical skills, reporting any unusual incidents or findings and maintaining a clean and safe physical environment of the area for the following age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a unit secretary program is desired. Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Tech in a hospital setting is desired High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of formal training program preferred. Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide Certification, proof of EMT program completion and/or proof of AUA program completion.
