Job Description
ICU Technician Come join our team as we expand and grow! The ICU tech supports the unit by stocking items and assisting patients, helping families/guests and performing clerical duties as needed. Candidates must have CNA or acute care experience in order to be considered for this position. Why choose Stillwater Medical? JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the care and support of the patient, utilizing technical nursing skills with minimum assistance.QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age of 18 years. Completion of a Nurse Assistant training course or acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to function in stressful situations. Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course within 6 months of hirePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone. Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care. Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: finger stick blood sugars, vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments).Similar jobs in Stillwater, OK
