Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic to join our dynamic emergency response team. This vital role involves providing pre-hospital care to patients in urgent situations and interfacility tranfers mostly (IFT) 98%, ensuring their safety, comfort, and stabilization until they reach definitive medical facilities. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience, including a minimum of 20 years in emergency medical services, with a strong background in critical care, hospital environments, and trauma centers. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering rapid, efficient, and compassionate care in high-pressure situations. Duties Respond promptly to emergency or Non Emergency calls and assess patient conditions with precision and professionalism Provide basic life support (BLS), including airway management, oxygen therapy, and vital signs monitoring Perform patient assessments to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses and prioritize care accordingly Administer Patients medications and manage airway devices as needed for patient stabilization Conduct physical examinations and physiological assessments to inform treatment decisions Assist in critical care transport, ensuring safe transfer of patients from the scene to medical facilities such as Level I or Level II trauma centers Maintain accurate documentation of patient care reports, vital signs, medication administration, and procedural details Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to all driving regulations and heavy lifting protocols during patient extrication or equipment handling Requirements Minimum of 20 years of experience in emergency medical services or related healthcare fields Proven expertise in critical care environments such as hospital emergency rooms or trauma centers (Level I or Level II) Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols Hands-on experience with airway management techniques Familiarity with patient assessment tools, vital signs interpretation, and triage procedures Ability to perform physical examinations and utilize DME (Durable Medical Equipment) effectively during patient care Valid EMT certification with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are a plus Skilled in driving emergency vehicles safely under urgent conditions while managing heavy lifting tasks when necessary Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and coordination with healthcare teams and first responders Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through expert emergency care!
