Job Description
This position will be accepting applications from residents and non-residents of Colorado. This announcement is open to potential candidates who are legal residents of the United States. All legal residents of the United States are eligible to apply and compete. Grand Junction Regional Center (GJRC) is a collection of group homes that serves adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who need additional support to stabilize and return to community residential settings. GJRC's focus is on improving outcomes for individuals with IDD as well as promoting community integration. GJRC has a total of 10 homes nestled throughout established neighborhoods of Grand Valley. These homes feature warm, comfortable living spaces and private, fenced backyards with recreation equipment. The Health Care Technician (HCT) IV provides supervision, coaching, and administrative support to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) while managing daily operations for multiple residential living sites . This role ensures a therapeutic, home-like environment for individuals with developmental disabilities or dual diagnoses, aligning services with department policies and state regulations . You will promote Person-Centered Practices and standards from the Center for Quality and Leadership (CQL) to ensure high-quality care and personal outcomes for those supported . Additionally, as a HCT IV you can expect to: Supervise up to 30 DSPs across multiple living sites through direct and delegated authority, acting as a professional role model Complete biannual Performance Management Plans (PMP) to set goals, support professional development, and address performance concerns promptly. Monitor and implement Individualized Support Plan (ISP) programs covering behavioral support, community integration, and individualized therapies. Conduct comprehensive monthly and quarterly data reviews of residential ISP programs to track progress and ensure proper implementation. Respond to behavioral challenges as needed with the implementation of specific behavior intervention programs. Ensure thorough documentation by staff. Ensure operational compliance with regulations from the Division of Regional Centers (DRC), Health Care Policy and Finance (HCPF), and the Colorado Department of Public Health Environment (CDPHE). Manage fiscal resources, including household budgets, residents' personal funds, and state-approved credit cards as an Approving Official (AO). Oversee the best possible health outcomes by supervising the administration of medications, treatments, and prescribed dietary orders. Lead Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives by analyzing data trends and executing action plans to improve service quality. Monitor staff completion of quarterly and annual training to ensure compliance with delegated skills training. Travel between living sites and operate state vehicles to transport individuals as needed to meet agency requirements. This position may be required to work at other living sites and/or shifts based on agency need. This position is 100%In-Person:

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) AND Three (3) years of experience in an occupational field related to working to the work assigned, such as working with a population with intellectual and developmental disabilities Substitutions Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis Special Qualifications Must be QMAP trained or hold a valid LPT license Preferred Qualifications Experience providing care or support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health challenges. Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Drive). Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, such as Therap. One (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity.
