Penn State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is seeking multiple, part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) at the University Park Campus available to work over the summer break This position will provide 911 emergency care on an ambulance or at a special event venue as needed. The applicant must hold current certifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an EMT and be currently certified in CPR. Driver s license with clean driving record required. EMSVO endorsement preferred but Emergency Vehicle Operator training will be provided for successful candidates in need. This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
