Columbia, SC | Full-Time Join Our Team Are you a dedicated Radiologic Technologist looking for a rewarding career with a consistent schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services within a secure correctional healthcare environment in Columbia, South Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while delivering essential healthcare services to an underserved patient population. What You'll Do Perform high-quality diagnostic x-ray examinations in a correctional healthcare setting. Verify physician orders and patient information to ensure accurate imaging services. Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, dignity, and comfort. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and repeat examinations as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all radiation safety standards and infection control protocols. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, nursing staff, correctional officers, and facility personnel. Adhere to all facility security procedures, inmate movement protocols, and safety requirements. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and ongoing training programs. QualificationsRequired Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. Current ARRT certification. Current South Carolina radiologic technologist licensure, if applicable. Current CPR certification. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records. Preferred Experience in correctional healthcare, detention centers, hospitals, urgent care, or mobile imaging. Experience working with diverse patient populations in a secure healthcare environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull equipment throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate radiographic equipment and assist patients as needed. Ability to work within a secure correctional environment and comply with all security screening requirements. Ability to move equipment between designated clinical areas within the facility.
