Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Medical Technician (CMT), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, skilled assistance to individuals in assisted living. Your knowledge of medical procedures, documentation, and patient support will ensure high-quality care delivery while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties include:
Assist with daily patient care activities such as vital signs monitoring, medication administration, catheter care, and tube feeding under supervision of nursing staff Document medical information accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support patients with activities of daily living in assisted living, home care, or community settings, ensuring comfort and safety Perform routine assessments of patients' physiology and anatomy to identify changes in condition or health status Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality during all documentation and communication Assist with medical procedures including wound care, medication management, and basic diagnostics in accordance with training and protocols Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care in environments such as nursing homes or hospice settings Ensure compliance with healthcare standards related to dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Experience Proven experience working in assisted living facilities Prior involvement in medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner highly desirable Hands-on experience providing patient care in senior living or community-based settings is a strong plus Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration techniques necessary for effective caregiving Familiarity with specialized care practices including Alzheimer's/dementia/memory care and hospice support preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle medical procedures such as catheterization and tube feeding while maintaining safety standards Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
