JOB SUMMARY

Specialty Technicians perform a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse to assist nursing personnel in the examination; treatment; and care of patients. Additionally; Specialty Technicians perform clerical tasks as assigned and according to the assignment setting. Specialty Technicians have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continuing education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education High School or equivalent Minimum Work Experience No previous experience required. Required Licenses/Certifications BCLS certification Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times. Input data into computer programs.
