JOB SUMMARY

Patient Care Techs provide personal care, health-related services, and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education High School or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience No previous experience. Required Licenses/Certifications Patient Care Tech Orientation BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Input data into computer programs. Communication and public relation skills. Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
