  • Full-time We're hiring a Plant Healthcare Technician to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on, field-based role (90% in the field, 10% in the office) with a clear path to becoming a Plant Healthcare Technician within 4-6 months. You'll shadow seasoned experts, learn the science and math behind plant healthcare, and eventually manage your own client route. This is an excellent fit for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys problem-solving with numbers, and wants accelerated training in a growing, niche industry.
What You'll Do:
Apply chemical treatments to trees, turf, and plants. Mix, calculate, and apply correct dosages (math aptitude required). Pull hoses, operate equipment, and work safely in the field. Enter chemical usage and property notes into iPad/Google Docs. Answer occasional client questions (not a sales role). Complete an accelerated training program to run solo routes within 4-6 months.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Comfort working outdoors in all weather (heat, cold, rain). Strong math skills (ability to calculate ounces per square foot). Computer literacy (Google Docs/Sheets, iPad entry). Detail orientation for chemical tracking and reporting Reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, enjoys physical outdoor work, and takes pride in precision. Nice-to-Haves Bilingual Spanish. Experience in landscaping, nursery, turf care, or related trades.  Training & Career Path We're committed to developing future leaders in plant healthcare. You'll work directly with Sam (national standards chair) and Andrew (safety standards committee member)—industry leaders who will personally guide your training.
