Inova Fair Oaks Hospital - Observation Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This role will be Full -Time | Nights | 7:00PM - 7:30AM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays | Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Job Responsibilities:
To learn more about a day in the life of a Clinical Technician 1, please visit: Working as a Clinical Technician (2 Mins) Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
Training :
Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of: Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM) Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total) Virtual training modules. On-unit shifts May perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
Special Skills:
Proficient verbal and written communication skills in
English Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
