In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across a variety of clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations to determine appropriate care plans. Administer medications, injections, and IV insertions following strict protocols and ensuring patient safety. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document medical records, procedures, and patient progress. Assist in emergency situations by applying basic life support (BLS) techniques and responding swiftly to urgent care needs. Support hospital medicine units such as medical-surgical wards, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and Geriatrics with specialized patient care. Perform venipuncture for blood draws and other diagnostic procedures while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate post-acute care, outpatient services, and clinic-based treatments. Requirements Proven experience working in Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments; experience in Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Strong background in hospital medicine, emergency room experience, or urgent care settings with a focus on patient assessment and medical documentation. Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols, medication administration, and injection techniques. Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for accurate data entry. Demonstrated ability to perform IV insertion, venipuncture, vital signs measurement, and basic anatomy knowledge. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics (PICU), geriatrics, outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care settings preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care, medical terminology proficiency, and adherence to HIPAA standards.
