As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your role will involve helping them with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence. ```Responsibilities```

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Support individuals in participating in recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals
• Document observations and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel ```Qualifications```
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of Epic electronic medical records system is a plus
• Familiarity with memory care and dementia care techniques is beneficial
• Experience with IV infusion and aseptic technique is desirable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this position may require working in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
