Job Description

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Ballard, Seattle, WA Primary Care & Internal Medicine in Ballard is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures. Collect and document vital signs, chief complaints, medications, and allergies. Assist clinicians with injections, EKGs, and various clinical procedures. Ensure precise EMR documentation for all patient assessments and actions. Coordinate follow-up care and manage patient messages/phone calls as directed. Team Structure /

Medical Assistants Workflow :
MAs are generally assigned to a specific provider. 1:1 ratio unless covering for call outs
Schedule/Shift:
4 days per week 7:00 am - 5:30 pm No travel required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $29.00 an hour (Dependant on experience)
Requirements:
Medical Assistant Registration or Certification from an accredited program. Active record of excellent attendance. Strong EMR experience Someone who is proactive, professional, and a team player.
Contract Length:
3-6 months. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
